Access Denied: C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log

Problem
In Vista, when trying to open the cbs.log file (located at C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\), you get an "Access is denied" message. This log file is generated/updated with the results from a system file check (sfc /scannow).

Fix
This normally occurs when UAC is enabled in Vista. To open the log, run "Notepad" as an administrator, then browse and open the log.

Note: I attempted to open the log through an administrative command prompt and received the same "Access is denied" message.
