Firefox and NTLM (Pass through authentication)

Problem
In Firefox, when accessing a website that uses NTLM (pass through authentication), you are prompted for a username and password.

Fix
  1. In Firefox, type "about:config" in the URL address bar
  2. If you get a message that states "This might void your warranty", click the "I'll be careful, I promise" button.
  3. In the "preference name" list, double click "network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris". YOu can limit the list by typing "NTLM" in the filter bar
  4. In the "Enter string value" window, type the URL for the website you wish to enable NTLM authentication. Note: Separate multiple URL's with a comma i.e. http://www.test.com,www.blah.com/
  5. Click "OK"
